I wish this blog was about better news or some fun we had to experience, but unfortunately we live in a a world that became sinful with the fall of man in the Garden of Eden, and thus disease and sickness inhabit our world.
A week ago Monday Caden was not feeling well so we took him in to the doctor where he was diagnosed with brochialitis an inflammation of the small bronchial tubes. The first few days Caden showed signs of improvement until Friday when his fever rose once again, by early Sunday his fever was continuing to spike with little effect on it taken by meds.
Caden was later admitted to the local hospital for observation with high fever and low sodium of 124. Since that time there have been a number of blood test, rsv test, flu test, among others and still provide no answer as to why his fever is so high. The blood levels on his heart came back good, which is always a concern since of the LVNC! Since yesterday and into early this morning Caden's breathing has become distressed and labored which xrays are now pointing to a serious strain of viral pneumonia.
The distressed breathing has also caused an increased heart rate and fever that is still running above 101 and 102 with meds.I ask that you keep Caden and our family uplifted in your prayers. We are relying on Jesus and trusting He will take care of our son, providing healing, comfort, and strength.
