I sit here in Caden's Intermediate Care Room an wish God could just give us the answers to what is going on, but we know deep down in God's timing we will find out . . . .just had a dsat down to 70, but nurses deep suctioned up the oxygen by 10%more and resting again.
Caden had a very good morning overall very alert and active, this evening he has been struggling with seizure activity, breathing difficulties, and anxiety attacks. The doctor prescribed ativant for the seizures to try and reduce and stop them. The oxygen has been increased back to 8L at 50%, and he is still being watched by monitor. We are a bit confused by what is causing the reaction of his breathing difficulties, his tonsils are swollen so they are consulting ENT tomorrow to see if they can devise a plan, since his lungs are now sounding clear with only slight sounds of any congestion taking place. Please pray that the doctors, nurses, and we can find answers and that God will allow a plan of success to be laid out.
We are so thankful for the messages and prayers on behalf of Caden and ourselves. This has been a time of highs and lows. A friend of ours, Tricia, that we originally met in Orange Beach, AL came to visit today though she lives in Arkansas and brought snacks for us. It's always amazing how God places different people in your lives who can relate to walking in your path, and sitting where you sit. Thanks, Tricia and prayers!
We have had numerous people ask how they can help or be of assistance to us. First and foremost prayers, thoughts, and caring is what we ask for above all and we know those prayers are coming. Second, we always feel "odd" about knowing what else to say so allow God to lead you in that direction and path that would be the second greatest gift you could do.
There is an account set up through Centennial Bank (formerly Liberty Bank of Arkansas) that is for the benefit of Caden, but please don't feel like you must give, we ask for your prayers and thoughts more than anything.
Have a Blessed Sunday and Good Evening for Arkansas Children's Hospital.
